“An Educator’s Guide to Intercultural Learning” will:
Tara Harvey, Ph.D.
Hi there! I’m Tara. I founded True North Intercultural in 2016 because I’m not only passionate about helping people learn and grow through intercultural experiences, but I also know a thing or two about how to do it. I’ve worked in a wide variety of roles in international and intercultural education, researched the process of facilitating intercultural learning, taught and trained hundreds of students and colleagues, and now support other educators in this work.
I want to help you help your students—as well as your colleagues and community—engage and learn more effectively when crossing cultures (abroad and at home). I created this guide to be your roadmap—to bring together and help you sort through all the important information on the topic of intercultural learning, so you know where to focus your efforts. I hope you find it useful!
